Card Usage Restrictions:
i) Single card transaction limit: $350 per transaction; Annual spending limit: $3000 (including total amount of refunds credited to the account. If this amount is exceeded, the funds will be frozen and will have to wait a year to unfreeze.) That is: the annual spending limit for a single card is $3000; The total amount of refund credits is also $3000/year!
ii) The balance on the card cannot exceed $350; exceeding $350 will lead to a recharge failure (exceeding the card's maximum balance limit) or the refunded funds will be in a frozen state (the card balance needs to be returned to the overall account balance for the frozen funds to unfreeze).
For the freezing & unfreezing of funds related to consumption, please refer to the following instructions:
A: For successful consumption authorizations, generally it takes 1-2 days to settle and deduct the amount from the card. Funds during settlement are in a frozen state. After settlement, the amount is deducted from the card.
B: For consumption authorization cancellations & refund transactions, the following rules apply:
1. For refunds from merchants on the whitelist with an original consumption authorization:
(1) If the available balance after the refund is below the upper limit, it is not frozen and refunded immediately.
(2) If the available balance after the refund exceeds the limit ($350), it is temporarily frozen. The system performs daily tasks to unfreeze the funds, unfreezing them up to the user's maximum available balance ($350). For a single refund transaction, it can be unfrozen in multiple installments, with transactions being unfrozen in chronological order. (Therefore, it is advisable to reserve enough available balance before carrying out a refund in order to receive the funds, or if funds remain frozen after unfreezing, wait a day for the system to automatically unfreeze.)
2. For refunds from whitelist merchants without an original consumption authorization:
(1) Less than or equal to USD 13, not frozen and credited immediately.
(2) From USD 13 to USD 60 (inclusive), funds are frozen for a full 7 days and then automatically unfrozen.
(3) From USD 60 to USD 350 (inclusive), funds are frozen for a full 30 days and then automatically unfrozen.
(4) For amounts over USD 350, not automatically unfrozen. Customer service must be contacted for manual unfreezing.
3. For refunds from sanctioned countries or merchants with prohibited MCCs, contact online customer service for handling (can only be submitted to the issuing bank for processing, and ultimately may not be unfrozen). Our party is not responsible for any losses in cases where funds cannot be unfrozen and will not provide further explanations. To avoid such situations, do not use the card for transactions in sanctioned countries or with prohibited merchants!
4. For consumption at high-risk merchants (including PayPal, Steam, etc., which have a high incidence of authorization cancellations & refunds), the following rules apply:
1. For PayPal authorization cancellation transactions, funds are completely frozen for 8-10 days.
2. For other high-risk merchant authorization cancellation & refund transactions: below 15 USD, funds will be unfrozen and returned to the card in 15 days; for amounts over 15 USD, funds will be unfrozen and returned to the card in 40 days.
