Card risk control related

In principle, the VM platform restricts the following transactions:

A) A large number of small transactions: referring to when the average transaction amount per card after activation is <$3;

B) A high number of transaction failures: due to reasons such as insufficient card balance, card freezing, or merchants initiating authorization transactions after the card is deleted;

C) Low recordation rate: Recordation rate = number of successful transactions / total number of transactions; a large number of authorization cancellations and transaction failures will result in a low recordation rate.

D) Scenarios suspected of fraud: such as consumption in environments like Lyft, Uber, Steam, etc.

Different card segments have different risk control rules, so it’s essential to carefully read the "Card BIN Description" and "Risk Control Rules" on the opening-page before activating a card; if you are a heavy user and unsure whether your usage scenario is appropriate, please contact customer service for advice.

Ensure that the usage scenario meets the requirements before activating the card, otherwise subsequent risk control rules may trigger automatic cancellation of the card by the system!
